What do the Trustees of Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust do?

Our Trustees are the guardians of our charity, working together to ensure Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust fulfills its charitable objectives and delivers on its mission and vision. The Trustees do this by steering the Trust's direction and overseeing the work of our Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Our Trustees come together regularly to receive a report from the CEO, to discuss and agree issues of strategic importance, and to ensure the charity is being run effectively. Meetings are held as hybrid sessions so Trustees can attend remotely or in-person.

Our ambition is to have a diverse and engaged Board of Trustees that's representative of the community we serve - the community that includes you!

Why become a Trustee?

There are lots of reasons people decide to become a Trustee with their local Wildlife Trust, from career development to giving back to a cause they believe in. Watch the film below to hear from a few Trustees from around the UK, and read our own Trustees' stories to find out why they find it such a rewarding experience...
