What do the Trustees of Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust do?
Our Trustees are the guardians of our charity, working together to ensure Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust fulfills its charitable objectives and delivers on its mission and vision. The Trustees do this by steering the Trust's direction and overseeing the work of our Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Our Trustees come together regularly to receive a report from the CEO, to discuss and agree issues of strategic importance, and to ensure the charity is being run effectively. Meetings are held as hybrid sessions so Trustees can attend remotely or in-person.
Our ambition is to have a diverse and engaged Board of Trustees that's representative of the community we serve - the community that includes you!
Why become a Trustee?

Nicola Berry
“I became a Trustee to understand the reasons for the decline in wildlife locally, and what we can all do to reverse it. I’d urge you to join us - I don’t think you’ll regret it.”

Tim Ward
"As an individual, it feels incredibly hard to positively impact nature, but as part of a group like the Wildlife Trusts, it's possible to make a real difference - I've found this very rewarding!"
Tim McVey
"As a trustee, I discovered we are part of a vibrant movement, learnt about nature and all its threats and successes. I feel we're making a difference, at least in our beautiful part of Wales."
